Chris van Capellegoed | 3319-1087 KThe breeding of Chris has become leading for his kind. In the summer of 2001 the inspection committee has granted him with great pleasure the rate: PREMIUM (see also the inspection report). Not only his sons and daughters in Holland made a lot of impression, but also his twelve sons, in the meantime rated 1½ who are situated in France, have left their mark on the breeding farm with the French colleagues. All twelve sons will be fully set in for the new breeding season. During the breeding season of 2001, five one-year-old sons have been set in, in the Dutch stock-breeding, and have served about 170 ewes at several farms in the country. Chris himself has also been widely set in this year. Not only at our own farm, but also nationally he served many ewes from different colleague breeders again. Chris himself is still very vital and still has got his enormous radiating power, great lines, length, very good muscularity and excellent legs. Chris appears to be a clear gain for the breeding branch. He provided his after breed with a lot of positive points, such as: - Development

- Nice croups with enough space
- Appealing meat surcharge
Meanwhile Chris' sons have proven themselves in the breeding branch, for two sons (1164 & 1169) have become worthy of the rating premium ram. |
